LINUX x86-64 · ELF64 · ZBOM

Generate the native toolchain from capsule-owned source, then rebuild and verify the chain automatically on Linux.

vxii · Single-file capsule · Installation optional

Ready. Download everything to generate and verify the complete bundle.
Run on Linux

Download everything generates and verifies one ZIP containing the bootstrap executable, toolchain sources, test sources and this capsule. Extract it, then run these commands from the extracted directory. Compilation, linking, stage comparisons and native tests run automatically on Linux.

chmod +x artifacts/bootstrap.elf
./artifacts/bootstrap.elf sovereign64-build

The resulting toolchain is in sovereign64-build/build/: native-cc.elf, native-ld.elf, native-check.elf and proof.json. Existing files and directories are preserved.

Specifications & build scope

ZBOM: every target component is freshly generated from capsule-owned source. Native execution uses Linux x86-64 syscalls directly. Source records and verification results accompany each build.

Native compiler self-hosting, three-stage byte comparisons, ELF64 object generation, native static linking, separately compiled modules and automated regression supervision are operational.

Every executable is ELF64 for x86-64, with 8-byte pointers. Required narrow ELF fields, byte strings and syscall buffers retain their specified widths. The dialect uses 8-byte plain int, 1-byte char and 4-byte explicit signed/unsigned int; narrow loads and returns zero-extend.

The compiler supports functions, recursion, six register arguments, grouped object declarations, globals, pointers, fixed arrays, strings, casts, sizeof, conditional and assignment expressions, sequenced comma expressions, loops, switch dispatch and short-circuit logic. Full preprocessing, structs/unions, floating point, variadic or indirect calls, stack arguments, archives and dynamic linking remain outside the supported profile.

The home-screen manifest and icons are embedded in this HTML. Installation is optional and leaves the native build unchanged. Save the HTML to keep an offline copy; opening that file in a compatible browser needs no network. A home-screen shortcut opens the hosted page and does not guarantee offline reopening.

Development checklist

Review boundaries, completed vxii passes, future priorities and release gates. The checklist also accompanies the full bundle and standalone installation.

Release identity

Current: vxii. Previous: vxi. Release identifiers use lowercase letters only, with no spaces. Each release carries its identity here and in the page metadata. This release fixes parameter-scope constant lookup, adds declared-object size constants and compile-time assertions, and includes the development checklist.
